Art Lynch was an inspiring teacher at Beers Street School and an outstanding umpire in the Shore Conference. I appreciated his professionalism. RIP

We lost Raritan Wrestling's biggest fan! I came to Hazlet in 2000 as the Raritan High School Wrestling Coach and met the Lynch family immediately! I soon realized that Mr. Lynch loved everything about Hazlet/Raritan Wrestling...he was Raritan Wrestling!

We have our wrestling room at the high school named after Mr. Lynch & Coach Dunnells. It will never be the same looking over to our score table & not seeing him or his voice doing our opening to our matches "Welcome to the Launch Pad".

Most important he not only raised his boys to be great men but also loved to see his grandsons compete as Rockets! What made Mr. Lynch the great man he was, he loved all the boys & stat girls just as much as his sons and grandsons!

I got to see Mr. Lynch a few days before he passed and the last thing he said to me with his thumb up was "Go Raritan"!

We will wrestle with, as he would statewith a tremendous amount of "Intestinal Fortitude" this season and promise to give it all we got!!!

Dear Lynch Family,
Mr. Lynch was my teacher at Beers St. School in Hazlet, in approx. 1970.
I have always remembered him so fondly, he was very patient and kind to our class. ( and believe me he needed patience for us!)
He was a very special teacher.
I was very saddened to read of his passing. Please accept my sincere condolences. He truly was a wonderful man.
Sincerely,
Suzanne Skene

Mr Lynch was a huge part of how our children grow up here in Hazlet. He is an icon of the community of the wrestling program . An encouraging word and a strong voice was echoed through each match, home or away. Please know he will be missed by all. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Cameron Lentze and the Lentze family
