Vincent J. (Jr.) Beahan

       Vincent J. Beahan Jr., 72, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away on November 22, 2016 at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel, New Jersey.  Vincent was born on December 8, 1943 in Newark, New Jersey, and grew up in Northern New Jersey, in the area surrounding Newark.  On May 23, 1964, Vincent and his wife, Loredana, were married and shortly after moved to Belleville, New Jersey to begin their life together. A few years later, they settled in Hazlet, New Jersey to raise their family.  Before retirement, Vincent was a self-employed contractor and owner of his contracting company, VJB Contracting.  He also served in the United States National Guard.  

       He was predeceased by his parents, Susan and Vincent J. Beahan Sr., his brother-in-law, Ray Nagiewicz, and his cousin, Joseph McNamara.  Vincent is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Loredana Beahan, his loving son, Vincent J. Beahan III and his wife, Karen, of Hazlet, New Jersey, his dear sister, Georgina Nagiewicz, and his cherished grandchildren, Vincent and Joseph Beahan.  Vincent is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Robert, Raymond, and Sissy, and his dear cousin, who took very special care of Vincent and Loredana over the last few years, Ellen McNamara and her children, Christopher and Ryan.  He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

      Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, November 28, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home during visitation hours.  In respect of Vincent's wishes, he will be privately cremated.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
