Christopher Joseph Swensen III

     Christopher Joseph Swensen III, 67, of Aberdeen, New Jersey passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday March 3, 2017 at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel, New Jersey. Christopher was born on May 9, 1949 in Staten Island, New York.  Before his retirement, Christopher worked for Swiss American Securities as a Compliance Director in New York, New York.

     He  was predeceased by his parents, Olive (Rasmussen) and Christopher J. Swensen II, and his daughter, Erica Ann Swensen.  Christopher is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy Ann (Sunden) Swensen, his loving sons, Christopher Joseph Swensen IV and his fiance`, Alyssa Courtney, and Thomas Michael Swensen, his dear siblings, Paul Swensen and his wife, Phyllis, of Baltimore, Maryland, John Swensen and his wife, Cecilia, of Texas, Sandy Miller and her husband, Scott, of Kingston, New York, and Brian Swensen and his wife, Francine, of Florida.  Christopher is also survived by many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, and many special friends.

      Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday evening, March 5, 2017 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM and Monday morning, March 6, 2017 from 8:30 to 9:15 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.

      A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday morning, March 6, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. Clement Catholic Church, 172 Freneau Avenue, Matawan, New Jersey 07747.

      Interment will follow at the Old Tappan Cemetery in Old Tappan, New Jersey.
