Patricia A. (Bordeaux) Applegate
December 10, 1946 ~ July 9, 2017 (age 70) 70 Years OldPatricia A. Applegate, 70, formerly of Keyport, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel, New Jersey. She was born Patricia A. Bordeaux on December 10, 1946 in Whiteville, North Carolina, and at four years old, moved to Aberdeen, New Jersey with her family, where she grew up. After marriage, Patricia and her husband, Richard, began their lives in Keyport, New Jersey, where they raised their family. Patricia worked as a Nurse for Regency Park Nursing Home in Hazlet.
She was predeceased by her parents, Eugene and Marion (Manee) Bordeaux, her beloved husband, Richard David Applegate, and her brothers-in-law, Don Marshall and Skip O'Brien. Patricia is survived by her loving children, Richard Scott Applegate and his wife, Kelly Ann, of Keyport, New Jersey, and Kelly Jean Stahl and her husband, Joseph, of Keyport, New Jersey, her dear siblings, Cheryl Blankley and her husband, Guy, Judy Thompson and her husband, Don, Barbara Marshall, and Susanne O'Brien and her boyfriend, Corey, along with her cherished grandchildren, Richard Henry Applegate, David James Applegate, Joseph Richard Stahl, Zoe Alexandria Stahl, and Chloe Jane Stahl, and 13 adored nieces and nephews. Patricia will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday afternoon, July 14, 2017 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home on Friday during the visitation at 4:00 PM. In respect of Patricia's wishes, she will be privately cremated and her cremains will be interred with her husband, Richard, at Shoreland Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Hazlet.
