About Us
The Family Makes the
Difference
“The
most important part of a family funeral home is the family
itself. Today we are carrying on a tradition of service started
in 1925 by our Grandparents, Our parents and the third
generation Michael and Camille Pavone. Along with our staff, our family felt there was a great
need for alternative choices, to what existed in the communities
of Monmouth County in the past. We invite you, a wise consumer to see the difference in
what we have to offer before the need arises, and of course
without obligation. We
are sure you will see that our meticulously designed facility
was developed only with one thing in mind, your family’s
ultimate comfort and peace of mind. Our promise and guarantee to you is to offer an
uncompromising level of personal service and care, an
attractive architecturally designed facility, handicap
accessible, and all in a beautifully decorated home like atmosphere,
at the most reasonable cost. We are sure you will agree with those we have already
served, that we are offering the ultimate in personalized care
in the funeral service profession today. That’s why everyday more families choose Shore Point
Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Jersey’s newest and
most modern facility.
Along
with our professional staff, we believe in being available and
attentive to the needs of New Jersey families at any time of the
day or night. Families
turn to us in times of need the way they turn to a close and
trusted friend. Our
tradition of service, and our deep connection with the community
we serve, does make a difference. We believe that “Courteous
and Personal Attention to the Details Makes the Difference”
For
us, serving you at your time of need is more than our business.
It is OUR HONOR
and a PRIVILEGE!

Our History
Our
founding father Leone Pavone Sr. began his career in funeral
service in 1925. He married Louise and she also joined the
family funeral business. They had many offices throughout
the tri state area serving families of all denominations and
faiths. They parented three sons of whom one followed in the
family tradition John Pavone Sr. He truly loved funeral
service, but also had an incredible eye for building and designing
funeral homes that were a comfort to those they served. He
graduated from the prestigious Renouard School of Funeral Service
in 1951 which was located in New York, New York. He married
Gloria who joined him assisting him with daily operation of the
family business. John passed away in 1985 and his son
Michael Pavone took over operation of the family business. Michael
graduated from the American Academy of Mc Allister Institute for
Funeral Service in 1980. He was the recipient of the New
York State award, a prestigious honor awarded to one student by
the faculty of the American Academy of McAllister Institute of
Funeral Service and his fellow students as the student who best
typified the highest ideals of the Funeral Service profession.
Michael is licensed in New York and New Jersey. He has
dedicated himself to serving countless families in their time of
need. He currently manages and owns the funeral home and is
an integral part in its daily operation along with his wife
Camille and their daughters Angelica and Briana.
Our
new facility is dedicated to the memory of our beloved father and
grandfather John Pavone Sr. 1923-1985. He was a dedicated
man who cared for his family, his neighbors and the communities he
served selflessly. One of the most important things he did
was to teach us how important it is to receive and repay the trust
our neighbors place in us. This is how Dedication of service
begins and is how Tradition comes to Life.
