Nancy A. (Lauro) Lopez

           Nancy A. Lopez, 94, of Aberdeen, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, September 13, 2016.  She was born Nancy A. Lauro on March 27, 1922 in Matawan, New Jersey, and was raised in the Oak Shades section of Aberdeen.  Nancy enjoyed traveling, playing cards, and spending quality time with her family and friends.  She was also a devoted communicant of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Keyport, where she was a member of their Altar Rosary Society for over 50 years.  She was predeceased by her parents, Vincenzo and Madeline Lauro, and her dear siblings, Sammy, Jimmy, Ralph, Joseph, Louise, Jennie, Susan, and Anna.  Nancy is survived by her beloved and devoted husband of 64 years, Edmund Lopez, her loving daughter, Michelle, her cherished grandson, Joseph, and adored great-granddaughter, Destinee, along with many special nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.  She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

           Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday evening, September 16, 2016 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3269 State Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday morning, September 17, 2016 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 376 Maple Place, Keyport, New Jersey 07735.  In respect of Nancy's wishes, she will be privately cremated.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
