Just heard about Joan's passing. I worked with her for almost 30 years at Foot Locker (Kinney Shoe Corporation, Woolworth) in their corporate office first at the Woolworth building and then mid-town above their flag ship store on 34th Street. She was not only a co-worker, but a true friend. She had a heart of gold and would always give the best advice or just listen. Sending my love to the family and wishing them that memories will help them during times of sorrow.

I just found out. I knew Joan when she worked for my boss at Kinney Shoes. She was a friendly, warm person who I am sad to see gone from this Earth. My deepest condolences to her family and the many folks who knew her.

Wonderful woman.. Joan made my and many others daily commute to NYC enjoyable (not an easy thing to do). For eight years I started my day with Joan. She genuinely cared and looked out for all of us.. God Bless Joan
