Mrs. May was like a second mother to me, she was always there when anybody needed anything. She had such a good heart and always wanted to share her good times with others. She would invite myself and others to come stay with her family during the summer at their Mays Landing campsite. She would let my brother, sister and I come over and help decorate their Christmas tree because being of the Jewish faith we never had that experience. I shall always remember Mrs. May's Shortbread that she made during the holidays, it was legendary.
I have so much respect for Mrs. May that I can't bring myself to call her Jean. I will always have a warm spot in my heart that was place there by Jean M. May who shall be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure to meet this exceptional woman. Rest in Peace.

When life was young and unspoiled Jeannie May was a beam of sunshine bearing joy and laughter for my childhood days. I am thankful for her contribution to life in Hazlet. A true friend to my Mom, her helper and co-worker in Scouting.

My heart breaks again as I pray for God's most tender mercy and love surrounds you and comforts you today and in the days ahead. Bless this dear sweet soul and all whose lives have been blessed with her.

It is so difficult to say good-bye to a mother. She has been by your side forever and you can't imagine her no longer there. Donna you were so blessed to be able to see her every day at work and spend a last mother's day together. May you find strength at this very difficult time. Our thoughts are with you all. Uncle Norman, Donna, Billy, Kenny, Laura and family, I am so sorry about Aunt Jean. She was a great lady and a joy to know. She will be sorely missed. I found this poem when Mom died for my Dad, I hope this will help comfort you.

We've shared our lives these many years.
You've held my hand; you've held my heart.
So many blessings, so few tears
Yet for a moment, we must part.
The memories you've given me
Are times I've shared with my best friend
I'll hold them, love, right here they'll be
Until we share our lives again.
