Dear Stanley, Doreen and Joseph,

I golfed with your wife/mother for many years at Pine Brook. Stanley was the great love of her life and she touched base with on the mornings just before we would tee off. Joseph and Doreen she spoke of the two of you all the time. My prayers go out to the three of you and your family. So sorry for your great loss. patty ryan

My grandma has had such an impact on my life. When I was a teenager she was the person that I would run to whenever I needed to get away and she was also the person that if my mom told her I did something bad, I would run away from. I will never forget the times that we've spent together like crabbing, tanning & the restaurant in Florida with the planes. The memories are countless. My grandma, my sister and I used to play skip-bo all the time and she would always win (if I didn't know her well enough I could have sworn she cheated). My grandma was one of the most honest, strongest, caring & funniest women I have ever met. Although I feel like there is a piece missing from my heart, I am at ease to know that she is no longer struggling. I will take the lessons that she's taught me with me for the rest of my life, whether it was how to clean a crab, tanning oil or personal advice, she has never let me down so far.

Please watch over us Grandma Hottan. I love you so much.

Hey Granny !! I’d say, and you would reply “Ill Granny you!!”
When I saw you in the hospital for the first time after you broke your hip, you said to me about yourself, “ Ive really done it this time.” Ya you did Granny. We never got to play that round of golf together that we talked about. You were called away to the great golf and boating club in the sky. You leave behind a legacy of two wonderful children, two beautiful granddaughters and your husband Stan whom cared for you day and night for over a year. We will play that round of golf one day and we will catch fish and crabs again. Watch out for raccoons Granny, they bite (:

I'll forever cherish the moments I shared with my grandma. She supported me at my gymnastics/cheerleading competitions (and even snuck me handfuls of her favorite candy before I competed), she taught me how to crab, and somehow trusted me to drive her golf cart when I was a crazy kid. I'll never forget all the times she made me smile and brought happiness into my life. She will be forever missed, but is now resting peacefully with all the doggies. I love my Grandma Hottan more than words can say and am so thankful to have had her in my life. ❤
xoxo,
Courtney

My mom was my rock, she was always there for me, taught me a lot and was a great listener. She is the strongest woman I know and I hope I become half the person my mom was. We enjoyed many good times together; crabbing, hanging at the Molly Pitcher pool, gymnastic and cheerleading completions, softball games, eating at Ruby Tuesday, Broadway plays- Jersey Boys and Beautiful, and spending time in Florida at Park Place. These were just a few. I will truly miss my mom! 🐕🐅🌞❤️❤️❤️

My thoughts today are how difficult it is to be without a member of our family , as you think that they will always be near by. I will see Jean each time someone is walking their little puppy dog. I will recall the days when she played tennis and would make lovely items out of macrame. Her little children crochet sweaters were of designer quality. The cute dolls she would create and dress with her crochet skills are to be admired. The Holder family will miss her forever. Stan ,Doreen Jeff, Joseph and Grandaugters Amanda and Courtney, may God continue to console you and give you Peace.

Love Rachel Holder

Doreen & Jeff, Joseph, Stan,
We are so sorry to hear of Jeannie's passing. A smile came on my face when I stopped to think about all the fun times we had together, all of us while down at the boat or at the pool. When I saw her age I was shocked to see that she was only 3 years younger than my mother. I always looked at her as the fun, cool mom. She was ageless! So many memories, unfortunately my mom has pretty much lost all of that. I however, remember how good your mom was to me giving me a job during the summers and just was so much fun to be around. My heart aches for you all. I'm sorry and pray for comfort. You all are in our prayers. Again, she was a classic and will be missed. Sarah, Bud, Morgen and Ruth
