Edward H. Ruby Jr.

     Edward H. Ruby Jr.,  79, of Matawan, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 13, 2017 at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel, New Jersey, after his courageous fight with cancer.  Edward was born on June 22, 1937 in Jersey City, New Jersey, where he spent his childhood years with his family, and in 1949, they moved to Middletown, New Jersey.  As an adult, Edward settled in Matawan, New Jersey in 1980.  Before retirement, Edward worked for Jersey Central Power and Light in their Billing and Receiving Department.  He was predeceased by his parents, Eleanor (Morey) and Edward H. Ruby Sr.  Edward is survived by his loving partner, Joseph Koslosky of Holmdel, New Jersey, his dear brother, Kenneth R. Ruby and his companion, Anna Kawolski, of Leonardo, New Jersey, his adoring sister, Linda Yazdani and her husband, Art, of Manalapan, New Jersey, along with his cherished nephews, his niece, and extended family and friends.  He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

     Arrangements were entrusted to the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  In respect of Edward's wishes, he will be privately cremated.  Edward's cremains will be entombed at Fair View Cemetery Mausoleum in Middletown, New Jersey.  For information, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
