Antonina (Trapani) Lauro

        Antonina Lauro, 81, of Red Bank, New Jersey, formerly of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, New Jersey.  She was born Antonina Trapani on June 29, 1935 in Manhattan, New York, and grew up in Queens, New York.  In 1995, Antonina and her husband, Salvatore, settled in Hazlet, New Jersey.  She recently moved to Red Bank, New Jersey in 2015.  She was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Carmela (Scobo) Trapani, her beloved husband, Salvatore Lauro, and her brother, Angelo Bennette.  Antonina is survived by her loving children, Joan Catalano and her husband, Lenny, of Staten Island, New York, and Linda Lovrincich and her husband, Michael, of Red Bank, New Jersey, her dear siblings, Sadie Mignone and her husband, Virgi, Joan Bosco and her husband, Anthony, Frank Bennette and his wife, Joanne, Tommy Bennette, and Suzanne Bennette, along with her cherished grandchildren, Dana Catalano, Joseph Catalano and his wife, Kara, Emily Lovrincich, and Andrea Catalano.  She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.  

         Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday morning, July 14, 2016 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3269 State Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  Interment will follow at Brigadier General William C.
