Joan K (Matthews) Cataldi

        Joan K. Cataldi, 73, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on November 27, 2016.  She was born Joan K. Matthews on October 27, 1943 in Brooklyn, New York, where she grew up and raised her family.  In 1999, Joan settled in Hazlet, New Jersey.  She was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Blanche (Hiscock) Matthews, and her beloved husband, John Cataldi.  Joan is survived by her loving children, Rick Moss of Hazlet, New Jersey, Gregory Moss of Hazlet, New Jersey, and Donna Lezak and her husband, William, of Hazlet, New Jersey, along with her dear brother, Alan Matthews and his wife, Joanne, of Middletown, New Jersey, her cherished grandchildren, Kayla Cordoza, Meghan Cordoza, and Claire Moss, and many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.  She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.  

       Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM, and Thursday morning, December 1, 2016 from 8:45 to 9:30 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A church service will be held on Thursday morning, December 1, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 60 Maple Place, Keyport, New Jersey 07735.  Interment will follow at Fair View Cemetery, 456 State Highway/Route 35, Middletown, New Jersey 07701.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
