At the age of 98, on August 9, 2024, the spirit of Shirley Hammond was welcomed home to heaven. She passed with family by her
side. She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Hammond, Deanna Aftab Guy, Parry Aftab, son in laws, seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
You could read here about the things she did and accomplished in her life, but you still would not know the wonder she was. She was beautiful, smart, capable. A standout from her generation. Above all, she was Mom. And Grandma. And Great Grandma.
