Scott Michael Cole, 49, of Aberdeen passed away at home on Saturday, November 12, 2022. Scott was born in Amsterdam, New York on January 28, 1973. His family moved to the Manalapan area where he grew up. Scott worked for New Jersey Transit as a Talent Acquisition Manager for many years. He was a communicant of St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, Manalapan Township, New Jersey. Scott played football during his high school years and enjoyed playing Rugby for Monmouth Rugby, Red Bank, New Jersey. He attended Brookdale Community College, Lincroft and graduated from Kean University, Union, New Jersey. Scott especially liked the time he spent coaching the Matawan Huskies Baseball Team. Along with being an avid Giants fan, Scott was very kind and loving. He was a dedicated son, father, brother, and friend, he will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
He is survived by his loving parents, Gerard and Mary Ann (Munier) Cole of Marcy, New York, his cherished children, Matthew Ryan Cole and Sydney Loren Cole both of Aberdeen, New Jersey, his caring siblings, Mark G. Cole and his wife Laurie of New Hartford, New York and Kristen Cole Smith and her husband Craig of Union Beach, New Jersey, the mother of his children, Stacey Cole and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Visitation on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.
