Lois F. (Bowen) Brennan

Lois F. Brennan, 76, of Hazlet, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel. Lois was born on April 16, 1948, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, where she grew up. In August of 1972, Lois settled in Hazlet to raise her 3 children along with her husband, John J. Brennan, who she married on October 17, 1970. Before her retirement, Lois worked as a Customer Service Representative with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company for many years. Most of all, Lois was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

Lois is predeceased by her husband, John J. Brennan, and by her son, John M. Brennan, her sisters, Barbara Netta and Clara Nevins, her brothers, Joseph, William and Paul Bowen and her granddaughter, Kaitlyn Brennan. Lois is survived by her loving children, Marc Brennan of Keyport, and Jennifer Facendo and her husband, David, of Hazlet, her dear daughter-in-law, Yahue Chuu of Port Washington, her treasured brother, Thomas Bowen and his wife, Gloria, six cherished grandchildren, Caleigh, Keira and Caidence Brennan and David, Ava and Josephine Facendo, and many nieces and nephews, including her godson, Frank Nevins.

Arrangements were entrusted to Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 10:30 AM at St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church, 165 Bethany Rd., Holmdel, New Jersey 07730. Entombment will follow at Holmdel Cemetery Mausoleum, 900 Holmdel Road, Holmdel, New Jersey 07733.
