Linda C. Carberry, 71, of Union Beach, New Jersey passed away suddenly at Bayshore Medical Center, in Holmdel, New Jersey, on Friday, March 28th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Linda C. Lane on October 12, 1953 in Brooklyn, New York where she lived until 2020. Linda was a proud Mother-Baby and Ambulatory Surgery nurse at Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, New York for many years before retiring. She was a communicant and member of Our Lady of Angels in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn and loved her new parish, Holy Family Roman Catholic Church in Union Beach. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
She was predeceased by her parents, Francis X. and Kathryn Clifford Lane, and her brother, Frankie Lane. Linda is survived by her loving daughters, Kate Jones and her husband Richard of Union Beach, New Jersey, Tara DeVito and her husband Michael of Union Beach, New Jersey, her cherished grandchildren Richard Jones, Logan DeVito, Brian Jones and Peyton DeVito, along with her siblings Terrance Lane of Staten Island, New York, Karen Pullara and her husband Joseph of Brooklyn, New York, Kelly West and her husband James of Staten Island, New York, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Family and Friends are invited to visit on Tuesday April 1, 2025 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM and Wednesday April 2, 2025 from 8:45 to 9:30 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/ Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday April 2, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 727 Highway 36, Union Beach, New Jersey 07735. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 361 Sharrott Avenue, Staten Island, New York 10309.
