John Castro Leite

John Castro Leite, 92, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, June 1, 2021 at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel.  John was born on April 12, 1929 in New York, where he was raised.  Later in life, he lived in Las Vegas for many years and for the last 12 years was settled in Hazlet, New Jersey.  Before his retirement, John worked as a limousine driver for a livery/transportation company.  He was also a proud United States Army Veteran.

He was predeceased by his parents, his sister, Bea, and his beloved wife, Grace Buongiorno.  John is survived by his loving children, John Leite of Florida, Robert Leite and his wife, Donna, of Vermont, and Debra Palacios and her husband, Rosendo, of Hazlet, his former wife and mother of his children, Johanna Zacharides, his dear sister, Gina Gomez, his cherished grandchildren, RJ, Jen, Joe, Rebecca, Christine, Christian, Lizzy, and Katie, and his adored great grandchildren, Jayden, Dominick, Luna, and Theo.  John will be sadly missed and never forgotten.
