Henry A. Delgado, 89, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Monday, March 16, 2020. Henry was born on February 4, 1931 in Havana, Cuba, where he grew up. In 1960, he moved to the United States, starting his life in Brooklyn, New York. In 1966, her relocated to Staten Island, New York before settling in Holmdel, New Jersey four years ago. Henry was a radio announcer in Cuba before coming to the United States. He was a real estate broker for over 50 years and owned and operated his own realty company for 47 years in Brooklyn, New York.
He was predeceased by his parents, Enrique Delgado and Gloria Rodriguez Newhall. Henry is survived by his beloved and devoted wife, Zoila Marie (Boitel) Delgado, his loving children, Zoilita Herrera and her husband, Gustavo of Middletown, New Jersey and Henry A. Delgado Jr. and his wife, Julie of Bedminster, New Jersey, his dear sister Esther of Florida. Henry also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Deana, Christina, Alyssa and Delsie as well as his caring great grandchildren, Brooke, Nicholas, Charles, Brynn, Zoe and Chase. Henry will be sadly missed and never forgotten.
