Charlotte Falcone, 93, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed peacefully at home on April 15th , surrounded by her loving family. Charlotte, born in Newark, New Jersey, spent a large amount of her childhood developing a lifelong passion for reading. Her love for reading was only surpassed by her love for children, especially babies. She dreamed of having a large family, and in that dream she found her true calling. Charlotte was not only a mother to her 5 children but also a mother figure to nearly 2 dozen other children. In addition to her family, Charlotte had a profound love for music, and this love led her to one of her greatest passions - dancing. As a columnist for a local newspaper, The Long Branch Daily Record, Charlotte shared her voice with the community through her unique and whimsical column, “Charlotte’s Chatterbox”. The work Charlotte most enjoyed was at the podiatrist’s office of Dr. Marc Lerner in Keyport, where she worked for 33 years. She would often say that clients came to the office in pain but left with smiles on their faces. Charlotte had a gift for making others feel seen and valued through her warmth and charm, famously known for complimenting strangers and making them feel loved. Charlotte Falcone was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed, gone from our sight but her love everlasting.
Charlotte is predeceased by her parents David and Charlotte (Boehs) Sims, her two wonderful husbands, Tom Falcone and Jack Keller and by her two grandchildren, Tommy and Jenna Falcone. She is survived by her four daughters, Melody Falcone (Mickey Major), Tammy Falcone (John McDermott), Kimberly Williams (Kevin), Candace Walker and her one son, Tom Falcone (Kathleen). She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Jordan Klix, Melody Lynn Walker, Samantha Walker, Kelsey Falcone, Sean Williams, and Colin Williams, her seven great-grandchildren, Shannon, Victoria Lynn, Mikki Jane, Gia, Skyler, Charlotte and Zoey and her love of 30 years Edward Madden.
