Benny "Benedetto" Piccolo

Benny “Benedetto” Piccolo of Middletown, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2019. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, on October 4th,1920. Benny was a lifelong resident Brooklyn New York before settling in Middletown in 1994. He was WW II Army veteran who achieved the rank of Master Sergeant. 

Benny is predeceased by his parents, Salvatore and Maria (Minucci) Piccolo. He is survived by his beloved wife, Rae (Caputo) Piccolo, his loving children, Maria Castagnini and her husband, John of Jackson, New Jersey, Josephine DiChiaro and her husband, Salvatore of Middletown, New Jersey, Margaret Muscarella and her husband, Carl of Middletown, New Jersey and Anne Henderson and her husband, Craig of Tinton Falls, New Jersey, his dear sister, Louise Parmegiani and her husband, Joseph. Benny is also survived by he cherished grandchildren Robert Delello and his wife, Michele, Stephen Delello and his wife, Michelle, Britney Pagano and her husband, Frank, Michael DiChiaro and his wife, Michelle, Anthony Muscarella and his wife, Mariel, Kyle Henderson and his wife, Caitlin, Joseph Muscarella, Gina Diduch and her husband Mike, Cecilia Muscarella and Chelsey Henderson. He leaves behind his great grandchildren, Gabriella, Dominic, Marissa, Nicholas, Anthony, Andrew, Avery, Alex, Christian, Collin, Reese, Vail, Jase and Dani Rae. Benny will be sadly missed, but  never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 121 Bridge Ave, Red Bank, NJ 07701 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Brigadier General William C.
