Anna (Salmieri) Azzinaro

Anna  Azzinaro, 81, of Freehold, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2022 at Jersey Shore Medical Center.  She was born Anna Salmieri on January  2, 1941 in Brooklyn, New York.  Anna was raised in Brooklyn, New York, where she met and married her beloved husband, Edward.  They remained in Brooklyn to raise their family.  Anna moved to Freehold, New Jersey in 2010.

Anna was predeceased by her parents, Joseph Stephen and Mary (Messina) Salmieri, her beloved husband, Edward Peter Azzinaro, her loving son, Anthony Joseph Azzinaro, and her siblings, Marie Mattola, and Dominick Salmieri.   She is survived by her beloved children, Michael Peter Azzinaro of Staten Island, New York, Patricia Ann Monticciolo and her husband, Mario, of Freehold, New Jersey, along with her cherished grandchildren, Joseph Azzinaro, Krystina Malfa, Alyssa Azzinaro, Elaina Malfa, Joseph Malfa, Nicholas Malfa, Isabella Malfa, Philip Giacalone, Joseph Giacalone, and Gabrielle Wisdom, along with her treasured great grandchildren, Anthony, Jayce, Ayva and Penelope.  Anna is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.  She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
