Madeline Mary Carinha, fondly known as “Sissy”, 59, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 5, 2024, at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey. She was born Madeline Emslie on June 19, 1964, in Red Bank, New Jersey. She grew up in Hazlet, New Jersey, where she remained to raise her family and has lived her entire life. For over 20 years, Madeline worked as a manager for Home Depot and Lowe’s. Most recently, Madeline was working as a lunch aid for the Hazlet Township School System. In her spare time, Madeline adored spending time with her family and those she loved. She enjoyed relaxing in her backyard by the pool and listening to music. Most of all, Madeline was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend to many. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
She was predeceased by her father, Charles Emslie, her beloved husband, Dominick Carinha, and her siblings, Robert Emslie and Debbie Fitzpatrick. Madeline is survived by her adoring mother, Madeline Valenti, and her husband Vic Valenti, her loving daughters, Jessica Emslie and Madeline Carinha, her dear brother, Charles Emslie and his wife, Nettie, her cherished grandchildren, Meckenzie, Jordan, and Jason, her treasured nieces and nephews, and her beloved four-legged friends: her dogs, Thunder and Bella, and her cat, Rosie.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A prayer service will be offered for Madeline during the visitation hours. In respect of Madeline’s wishes, she will be privately cremated.
