Grace Magrino, 80 of Tequesta, Florida, formerly of Middletown, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on Friday, April 12, 2024, at Brandywine at Governor’s Crossing, Englishtown, New Jersey. Grace was born on August 3, 1943, in Staten Island, New York. Grace met the love of her life, John J. Magrino, while working together in Manhattan. They were happily married on February 1, 1964. They lived together for a short time in Brooklyn, New York, before moving to Staten Island, where they began their family. In 1976 the family moved to Florida. In 1980 they moved to New Jersey where they remained until Grace moved to Tequesta, Florida in 2021. While living in the Middletown area, Grace enjoyed working as a billing associate at the Ortho Center in Red Bank, New Jersey. Grace loved spending time with family and friends, she was most proud of being a grandmother to her ten loving grandchildren. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be greatly missed, always loved, and never forgotten.
Grace was predeceased by her beloved parents, Frank, and Pauline (Saccente) Mondelli, her loving husband John J. Magrino and her caring brothers, John Mondelli and Michael Mondelli. She is survived by her devoted children, Kathy Magrino of Point Pleasant, New Jersey, Paul Magrino and his wife Donna of East Brunswick, New Jersey, Johnny Magrino and his wife Karen of Fanwood, New Jersey and Joseph Magrino and his wife Jeanette of Old Bridge, New Jersey, her ten cherished grandchildren, Kelly Magrino, Emily Magrino, Joseph Letizia, Amy Magrino, Sara Magrino, Lauren Magrino, John Magrino, Jenna Magrino, Alexa Magrino, and Madison Magrino. Grace also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and extended family.
In respect of Grace’s wishes, she will be privately cremated. Family and friends are invited to a memorial visitation on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday morning, April 18, 2024, at 10:30 AM at Saint Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, 800 Ocean Ave., Long Branch, New Jersey 07740. Immediately following the mass, Grace’s cremated remains will be interred at Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport, New Jersey.
