Edward J. Pado

Edward J. Pado, 91, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2024 at Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel, New Jersey.  Edward was born on August 24, 1932 in South River, New Jersey, where he grew up.  After marriage, Edward and his wife, Helen, moved to Brooklyn, New York for a short time, before settling in Hazlet, New Jersey, where they remained to raise their family.  Before retirement, Edward worked as the receiving manager for Channel Home Stores in Springfield, New Jersey for many years.  He also proudly served our country with the United State Air Force.  Most of all, Edward was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.  He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

He was predeceased by his parents, and his beloved wife, Helen Pado.  Edward is survived by his loving sons, Edward M. Pado, and Michael A. Pado and his fiancée, Michelle Medeiros, his dear daughter-in-law, Tracey Smith, his cherished grandchildren, Edward Pado and his fiancée, Beth Card, Carly Pado, and Leeanne Pado, and his treasured great granddaughter, Chloe Pado.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday, March 17, 2024 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, March 18, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 727 Highway 36, Union Beach, New Jersey 07735.  Interment and military honors will follow at Shoreland Memorial Garden Cemetery, Route 35, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
