TheresaAnn Sporer, 64, of the Laurence Harbor section of Old Bridge, New Jersey passed away peacefully at home in the early morning on Sunday, February 18, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Born on December 9, 1953, "Terry", as many of her family and friends referred to her as, was loved by all who got to know her sense of humor and generous heart. On August 30, 1975, Terry married her loving husband of 42 years, James "Jimmy" Sporer. Together, they raised three daughters, and made a lot of memories. Throughout her life, Terry would be the first person to lend a hand to anyone in need. Terry began her career working for the Head Start programs of Sayreville and South River. For the last 27 years, Terry dedicated her life working for the Township of Old Bridge's Office on Aging as a Transportation Coordinator. In addition, she worked for the Camp Robin Program of Old Bridge, driving children with disabilities to their destinations. Terry coached many of her daughter's softball teams for Mid-Madison Girls' Softball and Madison Park Softball leagues. Also, she served as a cheerleading coach for the Raritan Bay Cougars. During those times, so many memories and good times took place that she leaves many people with smiles on their faces when they reminisce. Finally, Terry enjoyed being a member of the Old Bridge Elks and takes pride in being a shuffle board champion. Terry leaves behind many friends from work and the Elks' Lodge that are going to miss her kind heart and witty sense of humor.
Terry was predeceased by her beloved parents, Susan and John Denney, her brothers, Theodore Denney, Harold Denney, and Charles Denney Sr., and her nephew, Theodore Denney. Terry is survived by her adoring husband, James "Jimmy" Sporer, her loving daughters, Antoinette Sporer of Laurence Harbor, Jamie Sporer of Laurence Harbor, and TheresaAnn Krsyzckowski and her husband, Matthew, of Brick, her dear siblings, Marcella Denney of South Amboy, Jacqueline Rosant and husband, Robert, of Cliffwood Beach, John Denney of Old Bridge, Susan Navarrete of Laurence Harbor, Robert Denney and wife, Betty, of Old Bridge, Rocco Denney and wife, Patricia, of Matawan, and Roxanne Denney of Cliffwood Beach. She was also the proud grandmother of her two cherished grandchildren, Dominick and Olivia Krsyzckowski, and leaves behind an abundance of nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. We will all miss you every day. The seasons, holidays, and celebrations won't be the same with out you.
