Nicholas J. Faro

    Nicholas J. Faro, 22, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2016.  Nicholas was born on July 17, 1994 in Staten Island, New York, where he spent the beginning of his childhood years.  When he was 10 years old, Nicholas and his family settled in Hazlet, New Jersey, and he graduated from Raritan High School.  In November 2012, Nicholas graduated from the United States Marine Corps Academy, and served his country as a Marine for four years.  

    Nicholas is survived by his loving mother, Jill Singer and her husband, Tommy, of Hazlet, New Jersey, his beloved father, Joseph Faro and his wife, Valerie, of West Keansburg, New Jersey, his adoring grandparents, Alfred and Maddie Celentano, Michael and Diane Flaherty, Greg Faro and his wife, Karen, Karen Bernstein and her husband, Jeffrey, and Gina Krakowski,  his dear brother and sisters, Thomas Singer, Valerie Singer, and Victoria Keiser, along with many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

    Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, January 5, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Friday morning, January 6, 2017 from 8:45 to 9:30 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday morning, January 6, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 727 Highway 36, Union Beach, New Jersey 07735.  In respect of his family's wishes, Nicholas will be privately cremated. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Nicholas to the Marine Corps Toys for Tots Foundation would be greatly appreciated.  To donate, please visit www.toysfortots.org.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
