Linda Mae (Eason) Muscarella

Linda Mae Muscarella, 88, of Matawan, New Jersey, formerly of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at home on Monday, November 6, 2017.  She was born Linda Mae Eason on June 7, 1929 in Selma, North Carolina, where she grew up, and in 1943 during her teenage years, she and her family moved to Newark, New Jersey.  In 1964, Linda and her husband, Joseph, settled in Hazlet, New Jersey to raise their family and in 2012, she moved to Matawan, New Jersey.

She was predeceased by her parents, James and Grace (White) Eason, her devoted husband, Joseph Muscarella, her son and daughter, Glenn Muscarella and Diane Kube, and her brothers, William and Roy Eason.  Linda is survived by her beloved children, Joseph Muscarella and his wife, Debi, of Sanford, North Carolina, and Darlene Muscarella and her partner, Teresa Villarroel, of Matawan, New Jersey, her adoring sisters, Carol Santillo and Peggy Ranucci, her loving daughter-in-law, Debi Muscarella, and her dear son-in-law, Brian Kube.  Linda is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Lauren Nortrup and her husband, John, Nicole Harrison and her husband, Kyle, Glenn Muscarella Jr., and Joseph Kube and his wife, Katie, her treasured great grandchildren, Gia, Ava, Reed, and Nolan, her sisters-in-law, Loretta Carozza and Freda Eason, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  Linda was a beautiful soul and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, November 10, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Saturday morning, November 11, 2017 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home on Friday evening at approximately 8:30 PM.  Interment will follow Saturday morning's visitation hours at approximately 11:30 AM at St. Mary's Cemetery, 283 Beachview Avenue, Manawakin, New Jersey 08050.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
