Joseph R. Casolino

        Joseph Rocco Casolino, 88, of Holmdel, New Jersey passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at his home.  Joseph was born on February 13, 1928 in Brooklyn, New York. Before retiring, he worked in the beverage business and was the proprietor of "Thrifty Beverages" in Brooklyn, New York. He was predeceased by his parents, Vincenzo and Margherita (Tesoriero) Casolino, and his wife. Joseph is survived by his loving children, Judy Phillips, Jimmy Casolino, Geri Niglio, and Joe Casolino, his cherished grandchildren, Chris Niglio, Sarah Kehoe, Miki Niglio, Justin Petrocelli, Joey Casolino, Dana Petrocelli, Ryan Phillips, James Niglio, Ryan Casolino, Jaci Petrocelli, Lucas Niglio, Jacob Niglio, Madison Casolino, and Nick Rocco Casolino, along with his adored great grandchildren, Matteo, Brooklyn, Ciro, Leo, Gianna, Luka, and Emery, and many extended family members and friends. He will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

        Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, July 25, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM, and Tuesday morning, July 26, 2016 from 7:45 to 8:30 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3269 State Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday morning, July 26, 2016 at 9:15 AM, at St. Catharine's Roman Catholic Church, 108 Middletown Road, Holmdel, New Jersey 07733. Entombment will follow at Holmdel Cemetery Mausoleum, 900 Holmdel Road, Holmdel, New Jersey 07733.
