Janet C. (Koester) Dolan

      Janet C. Dolan, 74, of Hazlet, New Jersey passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, New Jersey.  She was born Janet C. Koester on November 14, 1941 in Elizabeth, New Jersey, and was raised in Rahway, New Jersey. On January 26, 1959, Janet married the love of her life, William L. Dolan. In 1963, Janet and William moved to Hazlet, New Jersey to raise their children.  Before retiring, she worked as an office manager for Dr. Kusum Mohan in Holmdel, New Jersey.

      She was predeceased by her parents, George and Flora (Hedeman) Koester. Janet is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, William L. Dolan, her loving children, William Dolan of Long Beach, California, Linda Birdsall and her husband, Robert, of Hazlet, New Jersey, Leanne LaMattina and her husband, Michael, of Hazlet, New Jersey, and her cherished grandchildren, Jason Dolan, Alyson Birdsall, Michael LaMattina, Matthew Birdsall, Alex LaMattina, and Shelby LaMattina. She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

       Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, September 8, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3269 State Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home during visiting hours. In respect of Janet's wishes, she will be privately cremated.
