Frederic N. Varlese

Frederic N. Varlese, 75, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2017 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, New Jersey surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on October 27, 1941 in Kearny, New Jersey.  He was raise in Union Beach and in 1987 settled in Hazlet, New Jersey where he raised his family. Fred was a proud Vietnam veteran of the United States Air Force.  He retired as an emergency room technician from Bayshore Hospital in Holmdel, New Jersey. Fred was predeceased by his parents Fred and Ethel Croll Varlese and his mother in law Eleanor Ciccio. He is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Marie (Ciccio) Varlese, his loving sons Joseph and Anthony Varlese both of Hazlet, New Jersey, his dear sister Faith Toth and her husband Ed of Pennsylvania. Fred is also survived by other extended family, nieces and nephews and friends.   Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, April 24, 2017 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Tuesday morning, April 25, 2017 from 9:45 to 10:30 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  Entombment will follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens Cemetery Mausoleum, Woodbridge, New Jersey.  In lieu of flowers, donations in loving memory of Frederic to the St. Jude's Childrens Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place,  Memphis, TN, 38105,  would be greatly appreciated.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
