Edith Maria (Camargo) Ali

     Edith Maria Ali, 69, of Matawan, New Jersey, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday evening, March 21, 2017 at St. Joseph's University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey.  She was born Edith Maria Camargo on June 10, 1947 in Colombia, where she grew up.  After marriage, Edith and her husband, Taleb, started their family in Colombia.  In 1974, they relocated to the United States, moving to Paterson, New Jersey, where they raised their children.  In 2008,  they settled in Matawan, New Jersey.   Edith was predeceased by her parents, Carlos and Wenceslada Camargo, her beloved husband, Taleb Saleh Ali, and her dear brothers, Omar and Carlos Camargo.  Edith is survived by her loving children, Nazer Ali and his wife, Ana Victoria, of Fresno, California, Sami Ali and his wife, Maria Sonia, of Hazlet, New Jersey, Saleh Ali of Hazlet, New Jersey, and Samira Rivera and her husband, Dennis, of Aberdeen, New Jersey, her dear sisters, Deborah Pedraza. Lucero Valencia, Rosalba Corredor, and Marlene Camargo, and her cherished grandchildren, Michael Nelson Ali, Alexandra Julia Ali, Vanessa Ali, Anthony Ali, Bianca Sofia Rivera, and Benjamin Carlos Rivera.  She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

     Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, March 24, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Saturday morning, March 25, 2017 from 7:45 to 8:30 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday morning, March 25, 2017 at 9:00 AM at St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church, 165 Bethany Road, Holmdel, New Jersey 07733.  Interment will follow at St. Raymond Cemetery, 2600 Lafayette Avenue, Bronx, New York 10465.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
