Carmine Uliano

        Carmine Uliano, 87, of Hazlet, New Jersey passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, April 16, 2016 at Regency Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hazlet. Carmine was born on September 5, 1928 in Jersey City, New Jersey, where he grew up. In June of 1980, Carmine married the love of his life, Dorothy A. (McKay) Uliano. In 1989, Carmine and Dorothy settled in Hazlet, New Jersey to raise their family.  Before retiring, he worked as a laborer for Halls Trucking Company in South Plainfield, New Jersey. Carmine was also a proud United States Army veteran, having served during the Korean War. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Dorothy A. (McKay) Uliano, his parents, Pasquale and Marguerite (Ferretti) Uliano, and his sister, Frances Constantino. Carmine is survived by his loving children, Patricia A. Martin and her husband Edward of Hazlet, New Jersey, Robert Uliano and his wife Suzanne of Jackson, New Jersey, Lisa Nuzzi and her husband James of Holmdel, New Jersey, his dear siblings, Nicholas Uliano, Phyllis Ferraro, and Angelo Uliano, along with his cherished grandchildren, Edward Martin, Jillian Martin, Corey Nuzzi, Nicholas Uliano, Matthew Nuzzi, Lauren Nuzzi, and Adam Uliano. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

        Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM, at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3269 State Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A Prayer Service will be offered at the funeral home during visitation hours. In respect of Carmine's wishes, he will be privately cremated.
