Barbara Hoffman

        Barbara Hoffman, 82, of Ocean Township, New Jersey passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey.  She was born Barbara Kaiser on March 18, 1934 in Manhattan, New York. She grew up in Manhattan and lived there until 1993, when she moved to Del Ray Beach, Florida.  In 2015, Barbara relocated to New Jersey to be close to her family, and settled in Ocean Township.  Before retiring, she worked as a book keeper for A to Z Plumbing in Manhattan, New York.  

        She was predeceased by her parents, John and Josephine (Bianco) Kaiser, and her 4 brothers, Otto, Michael, John, and Peter Kaiser.  Barbara is survived by her loving children, Gayle Hoffman-Koreyva and her husband, Stan, of Sea Girt, New Jersey, Kris Santoro and her husband, Frank, of Middletown, New Jersey, her dear sister, Sophie Kaiser, her cherished grandchildren, Brianna Santoro, Frankie Santoro, Michael Koreyva, Andrew Koreyva, and Jack Koreyva. Barbara is also survived by her adored pups, Buster and Bandit. She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. 

        Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday evening, September 15, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, and Friday morning, September 16, 2016 from 10:15 to 11:00 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3269 State Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, September 16, 2016 at 12:00 PM, at St. Catharine Catholic Church, 215 Essex Avenue, Spring Lake, New Jersey 07762.  Entombment will follow on Friday at about 1:30 PM, at St. Anne Cemetery and Mausoleum, 1610 Allenwood Road, Wall Township, New Jersey 07719.
