Albert R. Zappy

Albert R. Zappy, 91, of Keansburg, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, November 17, 2017 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, New Jersey.  Albert was born on November 14, 1926 in Camden, New Jersey.  In his younger years, Albert proudly served our country during World War II with the United States Navy.  He was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Angelina (Moffa) Zappy, and his beloved wife, Edna (Cavagnaro) Zappy.  Albert is survived by his loving children, Albert Zappy and his wife, Karen, of Massachusetts, Richard Zappy of Mays Landing, New Jersey, and Jennifer Petsch and her husband, Robert, of Hazlet, New Jersey, his dear daughter-in-law, Robyn Zappy, his cherished grandchildren, Erica Wainer and her husband, Chris, Christopher Zappy and his wife, Lu, Joseph Zappy and his wife, Fanny, and Michael Petsch, along with his adored great grandchildren, Claire and Ian Wainer, and Leila Zappy, and many special nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.  Albert will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, November 27, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Tuesday morning, November 28, 2017 from 9:30 to 10:15 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home during Monday's visitation hours.  Interment will follow Tuesday morning's visitation at 11:30 AM at Brigadier General William C.
