Warren J. Chamberlain, 73, of Keyport, passed away peacefully, with his loving family by his side on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at Bayshore Medical Center, Holmdel, New Jersey. Warren was born on October 30, 1950, in Long Branch, New Jersey. He was a lifelong resident of the shore area, mainly the Keyport and Union Beach area. He retired after many dedicated years from the Monmouth County Sheriff's Department, Freehold, New Jersey where he worked as both a Corrections Officer and a Sheriff’s Officer. Warren gave of his time generously to the town of Keyport, by being a past councilman and Volunteering in the Keyport Fire Department. When not volunteering, he enjoyed woodworking. He will be remembered by his friends and family for being a huge “Trump Fan”. Most of all, Warren was a loving son, companion, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to many. He will be greatly missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
Warren was predeceased by his beloved parents, Fredrick V. and Margaret (Friewald) Chamberlain, his siblings, Judith A. Ward, Russell E. Chamberlain, Kenneth A. Chamberlain and Arlene P. Mann. He is survived by the love of his life, Margaret Krieg, his children, Melissa Halbach and her husband Russell, Lauren Russell , Sean Chamberlain and Erin Krieg Stauffer, a sister, Janet Grasso, his grandchildren, Russell E. Halback, Carolann Halbach and Weston Russell and his great granddaughter, Aubrey Grace Halbach.
