Walter L. England Jr., 85, of Holmdel, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 22, 2021 at Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel. Walter was born on February 19, 1936 in Long Branch, New Jersey. Walter grew up in Red Bank, New Jersey and in 1968, settled in Holmdel. Before his retirement, Walter was a member of the Army National Guard for many years. He was also a proud veteran of the United States Army. In his spare time, Walter was an avid radio controlled boat builder. He was also a member of the Garden State Model Boaters Club in Spring Lake.
He was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Elizabeth (Bailey) England, his beloved wife, Lena "Lee" Rose (Sclafani) England, and his loving son, Lewis James England. Walter is survived by his dear daughter-in-law, Dorothy England of Toms River, his beloved grandson, Anthony England of Toms River, his treasured sister-in-law, Mary Jane Sclafani of Middletown, his cherished niece, Michele T. Wiebel and her husband, PJ, and his adored great nieces and nephew, Elle, Charlotte, and Paul Wiebel III. Walter will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday morning, November 29, 2021 at 10:00 AM at The Catholic Church of St. Ann, 311 Carr Avenue, Keansburg, New Jersey 07734. Entombment will follow at Holmdel Cemetery Mausoleum, 900 Holmdel Road, Holmdel, New Jersey 07733.
