Victor Valenti Jr.

Victor Valenti Jr., 76, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at Complete Care at Bayshore surrounded by the love of his family on Friday, July 12, 2024.  He was born on June 6, 1948, in South Amboy, New Jersey. Victor and his beloved wife Madeline settled in Hazlet in 1997 where they remained. He was fondly known as Vic.  Vic retired after many years of faithful service as an Iron Worker for Local # 11.  Vic enjoyed spending time with his family whenever possible and was an avid bowler and bowling was his true passion.  He was known for bowling  many 300 scored games and left behind many bowling friends  at Airport Plaza Brunswick Lanes.  Most of all, he was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.  He will be greatly missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

He was predeceased by her parents, Victor Valenti Sr. and Jeanette Barboe Valenti. Vic is survived by his beloved wife, Madeline Emslie Valenti. and loving children, Charles Emslie III and his wife, Nettie, of Hazlet, his son in law Greg Fitzpatrick, and daughter in law Jennifer Emslie. Vic is also survived 13 cherished grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, an many extended family members and friends.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, July 15, 2024, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A prayer service will be offered on Monday, July 15, 2024, during the visitation hours.
