Veera Reed

Veera Reed, 94, of Hazlet, passed away peacefully at Care One King James in Atlantic Highlands on  May 17, 2020.  She was born Veera Sore on March 25, 1926 in Germany, the daughter of Alfred Sore. She retired after many years as a secretary for her insurance agency operated by her husband, O. John Reed and Veera in Airport Plaza.

Veera was predeceased by he beloved husband O. John Reed (April 23, 2006) and her loving daughter ,Donna Reed (October 19, 2017).

Arrangements were entrusted to the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  Due to the current COVID-19 health crisis, visitation and services will be held privately for the immediate family only.  Veera will be entombed at Green Grove Cemetery Mausoleum, Keyport, New Jersey,  reuniting with her husband, O.
