Tina (Ferruggia) D'Ambrosio

Tina F. D’Ambrosio, 92, of Morganville, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of her family on October 25, 2023. Tina was born on January 4, 1931, in Newark, New Jersey where she grew up. She went onto raise her family in Harrison, New Jersey before moving and settling in Morganville, New Jersey. She was a communicant of Saint Clements Roman Catholic Church, Matawan, New Jerey.   Tina enjoyed her work as both a bank teller and a bookkeeper but above all she treasured her role as a mom and caretaker to all her family.

Tina was predeceased by her beloved parents, Carmen and Mary (Arcidiacona) Ferruggia, her son, Fred D’Ambrosio, brother, Frank Ferruggia and her nephew Christopher Ferruggia. She is survived by her loving daughter, Dina D’Ambrosio of Morganville, son, Anthony D’Ambrosio also of Morganville, her two cherished grandsons, Richard Dean Garrell, and Fred D’Ambrosi with whom she lived and was a devoted grandma and “mom” since his childhood. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Rose Ferruggia and was an adoring aunt to Donna Vella, Deborah D’Ambrosio and Denise Daly. Tina was a very devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, and aunt. She will be greatly missed, always loved, and never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, October 28, 2023, from 1:30 to 4:30 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. Saint Clements will be offering a prayer service during the visitation at 2:30 PM.  In respect of Tina’s wishes she will be privately cremated.
