Timothy P. Butler Sr.

Timothy P. Butler Sr., 66, of Holmdel, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, March 5, 2021 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, New Jersey.  Timothy was born on October 9, 1954 in Bronx, New York and grew up in Ossining and White Plains, New York.  After completing his college education, Timothy moved to Belmar, New Jersey.  On March 17, 1984, Timothy and his beloved wife, Deborah, were married and settled in Hazlet to raise their family and a few years ago in 2018, they moved to Holmdel.  Before his retirement, Timothy worked for SAIC as the Director of Audits in Piscataway, New Jersey.  Most of all, Timothy was a loving son, husband, father, brother, and friend to many.  He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

He was predeceased by his parents, Gerard and Elizabeth (O'Sullivan) Butler, and his siblings, Terrance and Beth Butler.  Timothy is survived by his beloved and devoted wife of 36 years, Deborah (Hart) Butler, his loving children, Laura Butler, Timothy P. Butler Jr., and Joseph Butler, and his dear sister, Barbara Maloney and her husband, James.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday evening, March 8, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Tuesday morning, March 9, 2021 from 8:30 to 9:15 AM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday morning, March 9, 2021 at 10:00 AM at The Catholic Church of St. Ann, 311 Carr Avenue, Keansburg, New Jersey 07734.  Interment will follow at Fair View Cemetery, 456 State Highway 35, Middletown, New Jersey 07701.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.

As per the regulations imposed through the State of New Jersey, there will now be a maximum of 100 persons allowed in the funeral home at one time.  In order to accommodate all of Timothy's family and friends, we ask that you please be brief while visiting in order to make room for additional guests to pay their respects; we thank you for your understanding during this time.
