Thomas P. Roszkowski, age 75, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2026, at Raritan Bay Hospital in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. Born on May 22, 1951, in Jersey City, New Jersey, he lived a life marked by devotion to family, service, and steady kindness.
Born and raised in Jersey City, Thomas carried the values of his hometown with him throughout his life. He later moved to Parlin, New Jersey, where he raised his family. In retirement, he made his home in Troutdale, Virginia. He also spent time living in New Mexico and in Colorado with his son Kevin and daughter-in-law Lauren. He embraced each chapter of life with quiet grace and an open heart.
Thomas served his country honorably in the United States Navy, a commitment that reflected his sense of duty and responsibility. He later retired after many dedicated years from PSEG at Hudson Generating Station in Jersey City, New Jersey, where he worked as a Chief Lead Operator. His career was defined by reliability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic, and he earned the respect of those who worked alongside him.
He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Ida Roszkowski, his brother Lenny Roszkowski and his wife Melany, and his brother-in-law Richard Czesnolowicz. Their memories remained an important part of his life.
He is survived by his children, Eric T. Roszkowski of Hazlet, New Jersey, and his daughter-in-law Caitlin Jannuzzi, Kevin W. Roszkowski and his wife Lauren of Parker, Colorado. He was a proud grandfather to Maverick and Sterling, who brought him great joy. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Lorraine Adams Roszkowski, as well as his siblings, Richard Roszkowski and his wife Jackie Crocetti, Marian Czesnolowicz, and Martin Roszknowski and his wife Sharon. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will cherish his memory.
Thomas will be remembered for the steady way he lived his life and for the warmth he shared with those around him. He will be greatly missed, always loved and never forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, June 8th, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Saint Benedict Roman Catholic Church, 165 Bethany Road, Holmdel, New Jersey 07730.
