Thomas "Tommy" J. Dowd

Thomas J. Dowd, fondly known as “Tommy”, a beloved son, husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on February 26, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, generosity, and warmth. He was 49 years old, and his outgoing spirit touched countless lives.

Tommy was the proud founder and owner of TNT Materials, a successful HVAC company that reflected his hard work and dedication. Known for his larger-than-life personality, he had an unmatched sense of humor and a love for making others laugh. His generosity knew no bounds—often giving more than he kept for himself—earning him the admiration of family, friends, and community alike.

Tommy is survived by his beloved and devoted wife of 20 years, Tracy (Falco) Dowd, his loving children, Ava and Preston Dowd, his adoring parents, John and Dolores (Pedicine) Dowd, and his dear siblings, Diana Kellenbence, and Jack Dowd and his wife, Nancy. He also leaves behind his cherished sisters-in-law, Lora Mason and her husband, Bobby, Crystal McDonough and her husband, Tom, Helena Mageros and her husband, Drew, and cousin Nicole Siddiqi and her husband Edrees, as well as his cherished nieces and nephews: Nicolette Kellenbence, Lauren Dowd, Trevor Dowd, Crystal Goldston, Josh Pinhas, Casey Nicolletta, Rachel Nicolletta, Frankie Siddiqi and Stella Siddiqi, along with many treasured extended family members and friends.

Tommy’s infectious laughter and boundless heart will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who knew him.

 Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, March 3, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home during the visitation hours. In respect of his family’s wishes, Tommy will be privately cremated.
