Thomas Brady Obituary

Thomas P. Brady, of Atlantic Highlands, NJ passed away peacefully on December 12, 2020. He was born on October 10, 1946 in Astoria, Queens. He lived most of his life in New York before moving to the Jersey Shore. 

Tom graduated East Meadow High School in Long Island, NY. He was a veteran and previously worked in the motion picture industry in New York City for the Electrical Brotherhood, Local 52. Tom worked on the film sets of many famous movies.  He had a background in many construction trades including masonry, carpentry, and electrical work. 

Tom was known for his quick Irish wit and great sense of humor. He was charming, kind, generous, and made friends wherever he went. He loved reading and a tall pint of Guinness! He was a history buff and a lifelong Giants fan. 

Tom was predeceased by his parents, Francis J. Brady, and Mollie Brady. He is also predeceased by his younger brother and his dear niece.

Tom is survived by his loving daughter, Jessica S. Brady, (Jessie). Jessie is Tom’s only child, and they were extremely close. Tom is also survived by his beloved granddaughter, Chelsea J. Brady.  Tom cherished his granddaughter with all his heart and loved spending time with her. His daughter and granddaughter meant the world to him and brought him joy. 

Tom is also survived by his dear sister, Noreen Brady, his nieces, and a nephew. He also leaves behind cousins and many friends. He will be missed immensely by many.

Arrangements were entrusted to Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  In respect of Tom’s wishes, he will be privately cremated.   A memorial service to celebrate Tom Brady’s life will be held at a later date.  For information or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com
