Susan Vallone, lovingly known as Susie, a person of love and kindness, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, on March 19, 2026, at Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel, New Jersey. Born on February 22, 1935, in Manhattan, New York, to the late Charles and Jennie (Sciascia) Randazzo, Susan's life was a testament to the power of family, faith, and generosity. Susie moved to Brooklyn in 1956 and to Staten Island in 2018. In 2021 she moved to Matawan, New Jersey where she remained.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Philip, her cherished son-in-law, Thomas LoMeo, and her dear sister, Marie LaBarbera and Marie’s husband Adam and her brother-in-law Phil Albanese. Susan's legacy of love continues through her devoted daughters, Susan Mastrantonio and Lori LoMeo; her caring sister, Rose Albanese; her adored grandchildren, Ralph Mastrantonio and his wife Dayna, Jessica Muniz and her husband Jonathan, Isabella Mastrantonio, and Matthew LoMeo and his fiancée Amanda Torres; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Leo, Miles, and Donna. Lastly she is survived by her devoted niece Camille LaFata, with whom she had a special relationship.
Susie's life was marked by her unwavering commitment to her family. She was the heart of her home, always ensuring that her loved ones were cared for with warmth and affection.
A devout Christian, Susan’s faith guided her through life's challenges and was the source of her strength and compassion. Her belief in kindness and thoughtfulness was evident in every interaction, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Susie's interests were simple yet profound. She found joy in the time spent with her family, especially when cooking for them—a love language that spoke volumes of her nurturing spirit. She enjoyed playing "scratch offs" and the lotto
Those who knew Susie would describe her as loving, kind, and thoughtful—a woman whose presence was a comfort and whose actions were a reflection of her generous spirit. Her absence will be deeply felt, but the memories she created will continue to inspire and guide her family and friends. She will be greatly missed, always loved and never forgotten.
Susie Vallone's journey through life was a beautiful illustration of what it means to love unconditionally and live selflessly. As we bid farewell to this remarkable woman, we take solace in the knowledge that her legacy will live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren and the lives of those she touched. Her life was a gift to us all, and her memory will be cherished forever.
