Shelley Marie Cooney

Shelley Marie Cooney, 31 of Woodbury, New Jersey, passed away suddenly at home on January 24, 2020.  Shelly was born in Long Branch, New Jersey on May 15, 1988.  She grew up in Pennsylvania until 2001 when her family settled in Hazlet and in 2019 she settled in Woodbury, New Jersey.

Shelley was predeceased by her grandparents Joseph and Josephine  Cooney and Nancy Evans. Shelley is survived by her significant other James Hyres, her beloved daughter Cora Hyres, her loving parents John E. Cooney and Gina Page and her husband Jerome , her dear siblings Edward Cooney and Mackenzie Cooney and her step siblings Jerome V. Page, Michael Page and Barbara Barbosa, her cherished grandfather Edward Evans,  along with uncles,aunts,cousins, nieces, nephews many extended family members and friends.  She will be sadly missed but never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Friday, January 31, 2020 from 6:00 to 9:00  PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A prayer service will be offered for Shelley during the visitation hours. In respect of Shelley's families wishes, she was privately cremated.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in loving memory of Shelley in support of her daughter, Cora, to her Go Fund Me page at https://www.gofundme.com/f/fu66ur, or a charitable organization of your choice.  Any donation would be greatly appreciated.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
