Sean Wasielewski Obituary

Sean Michael Wasielewski, 56, of Port Monmouth, New Jersey, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey.  Sean was born on November 29, 1966, in Lakewood, New Jersey, and grew up in Pine Beach and Toms River, New Jersey.  Sean met his beloved wife, Bonnie, while attending Rutgers University, where he received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees.  On August 14, 1994, Sean and Bonnie were married and a few days later, started their life together in Muncie, Indiana so he could pursue his Ph.D. at Ball State University.  He was presently working as a clinical psychologist for Senior Care Therapy.  In 2001, they settled in Middlesex, New Jersey, where they raised their two loving daughters, and ultimately in October 2022, settled in Port Monmouth, New Jersey.

In Sean’s spare time, he was very active in the comic art world and was fondly known as “Bird” or “Fedres” throughout the comic art community.  He was also an avid Miami Dolphins and New York Knicks fan.  Recently, Sean enjoyed bird watching and spending time surrounded by nature at Sandy Hook National Park.  Most of all, Sean was a loving son, husband, father, uncle, great uncle, and friend to many.  He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

Sean is survived by his adoring parents, Alan John Wasielewski Sr. and Peggy (Conlow) Wasielewski; his beloved and devoted wife of 29 years, Bonnie (Weissenburger) Wasielewski and his loving daughters, Molly and Abigail Wasielewski; his dear brother, Alan John Wasielewski, Jr. and his wife, Dolly; his cherished niece, Nicole Jagger and her husband, Greg, and his treasured great nephews, Luke and Benjamin; and his beloved nephew, Ryan Wasielewski, and his wife, Angela.
