Robert R. Pecci, 88, of Brooklyn, New York passed away peacefully on January 11, 2022 surrounded by his loving family at his daughter's home in Red Bank, New Jersey. His was born on May 11, 1933 in Brooklyn, New York where he grew up and remained his entire life. He was the retired proprietor of Bill and Bob's Service Station at 2259 Utica Avenue, Brooklyn, New York 11234. Robert was a proud United States Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict Era. He was an avid antique car collector known for his red 1963 Ford Thunderbird Convertible along with many other beautiful classic cars.
He was predeceased by his loving parents Saverio and Rose (Cardone) Pecci, his late siblings Theresa Grieco and James Pecci. Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Lenore (Grogan) Pecci, his loving daughters, Donna Volpetti and her husband Christopher of Red Bank, New Jersey, Beth Caruso and her husband Giulio of Highlands, New Jersey and Karen Corozzo and her husband Joseph of Brooklyn, New York, his cherished grandchildren Bianca Volpetti, Olivia Volpetti, Marco Caruso, Saverio Caruso, Giulio Caruso, Robert Corozzo, Jillian Corozzo, Joseph John Corozzo, his dear siblings Donna DeVito, James Pecci and his wife Elizabeth, along with nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Robert will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to visit Friday, January 14, 2022, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Saturday morning, January 15, 2022, from 8:00 to 8:45 AM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 9:30 AM at Saint Leo the Great Roman Catholic Church, 50 Hurley's Lane, Lincroft, New Jersey 07738. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 100 Chapel Hill Road, Red Bank/Middletown, New Jersey 07701. In Lieu of Flowers donation to Saint Jude's Children Hospital in memory of Robert R.
