Robert E. Hutchins

Robert E. Hutchins Jr., “Bob or Hutch” ,70, passed away peacefully in Hospice Care at Bayshore Medical Center, Holmdel, New Jersey.  Robert was born on February 18, 1952, in Jersey City, New Jersey, where he lived most of his life.  Robert retired from PSE&G where he worked for many years. He worked mostly in Linden and Jersey City, New Jersey. Bob’s hobbies were doing puzzles, playing cards and painting. He enjoyed trips to the racetrack and spending time with family.  Bob was a lifelong Giants and Mets fan.

Bob is predeceased by his parents, Robert, and Stella (Dlugoszewski) Hutchins. Bob is survived by his fiancé, Doreen Rabassa of Maple Shade, New Jersey, his siblings; Charlene Delaney of Naples, Florida, and Steven Hutchins of Secaucus, New Jersey; his children, Terrilyn and George Davis of Trinity, Florida, William and Dana Hutchins of Lincroft, New Jersey and Jeramie and Mellisa Hutchins of Keansburg, New Jersey; as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.
