Robert James Ackerson

Robert James Ackerson, 69, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away at his mother's home on Friday, March 26, 2021.  Robert was born on November 1, 1951 in Red Bank, New Jersey, and was raised in Holmdel.  He was presently settled in Hazlet, New Jersey.  Before his retirement, Robert worked as a programmer for Prudential Property and Casualty Company in Holmdel for many years.  Robert was a loving son, brother, uncle, great uncle, and friend to many.  He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

He was predeceased by his father, John B. Ackerson.  Robert's mother, Doris Eva Ackerson, also passed away shortly after his passing on March 26, 2021.  Robert is survived by his loving brother, William J. Ackerson, his dear cousin, Gary J. Ackerson and his wife, Nancy, his cherished nephews, Thomas D. Wolfe and his wife, Jennifer, and Kevin W. Ackerson, and his adored great nieces and nephew, Madison, Morgan, Mason, and McKenzie, along with many more extended family members and friends.
