Richard E. Trembley

Richard E. Trembley, 76, of Union Beach, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel, New Jersey.  Richard was born on April 3, 1945 in Long Branch,  New Jersey.  Richard was a life-long resident of Union Beach, New Jersey; he grew up in Union Beach, as well as raising his own family.  Before his retirement, Richard worked as purchaser for Kar Parts in Somerville, New Jersey for many years.  He was also a proud United States Army Veteran, having served our country during the Vietnam War.  Above all else, Richard was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and soon-to-be great grandfather.  He was adored by his family and friends, and will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

He was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Albertha (Wagner) Trembley, his first wife, Janet (Rusnak) Trembley, and his step-sons, Albert and Christopher Naples.  Richard is survived by his beloved and devoted wife of 16 years, Janet (Ramiccio) Trembley, his loving sons, Richard S. Trembley and his wife, Elmira, of Union Beach, Thomas J. Trembley and his wife, Deborah, of Union Beach, and Jeffrey Naples and his wife, Jennifer Rodas, of Pompton Lakes, and his dear sisters, Albertha “Terry” Shipley, and Nancy Kelly and her husband, Robert.  Richard also leaves behind his daughter-in-law, Teresa Naples, his cherished grandchildren, Dayna and her husband, Don, Megan and her husband, Sam, Hunter, Peri, Leyla, Travis, Kailey, James, Cayden, and Kali, and a great-granddaughter on-the-way, baby girl Raelynn.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Thursday morning, June 17, 2021 from 9:45 to 10:30 AM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A committal service and military honors, followed by entombment will take place on Thursday morning, June 17, 2021 at approximately 11:15 AM at Holmdel Cemetery Mausoleum, 900 Holmdel Road, Holmdel, New Jersey 07733.  In lieu of flowers, donations in loving memory of Richard to Union Beach American Legion Post 321 (524 Front Street, Union Beach, New Jersey 07735) or Union Beach EMS (310 Park Avenue, Union Beach, New Jersey 07735) would be greatly appreciated.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
